Kusal Roy

Kusal is an Engineer (IIT, Kharagpur) & a MBA (IIM – Ahmedabad). He has 15 years of experience in Consumer Banking and Marketing, mainly at Citibank and Barclays. He is currently the Head of Cards & Unsecured Loans at ICICI Bank.

He was a Senior Vice-President at Citibank Cards in India and a member of the Citi India Consumer Bank Management Committee. Post his Citibank stint, Kusal joined Barclays in 2007 as the Head of Credit Cards for India and Indian Ocean.

Till November 2009, Kusal was the Managing Director of Barclays Investments and Loans India Limited (BILIL, commonly known as Barclays Finance), a 100% subsidiary of Barclays Bank PLC, leading a team of 1100 employees across 49 cities in India.

Kusal is married and has a son who is a budding swimming champion.

With IHO: Kusal is a mentor to the IHO management team. Kusal’s dominance & experience in the retail market & strategic alliances helps IHO penetrate the Indian market further.
